About the Corrections Tab

You must mail mailpieces on the day that they are metered. The date prints on the mailpiece. Therefore, if you printed an envelope on previous day but the envelope did not get mailed, you must print a label with the current date and affix the label to the back of your envelope. The word REDATE appears instead of a postage amount.

Alternately, you can print the date correction on the back of your envelope.

• Note: Printing on the back of envelopes might not be possible with some printers.

Feed the envelope upside-down, and DAZzle centers the correction on the back.

If you printed too little postage on your mailpiece and you need to add an additional postage amount, enter the additional postage amount needed and print that amount on a label.

• Caution: Make sure that you enter the correct amount as DAZzle has no way of knowing during a correction what the amount should be.
